When I planned my dive trip to Con Dao, I was picturing beautiful coral reefs. And I found them. But I saw something on the Amadive itinerary: **Wreck Diving**. My pulse jumped. This was more than a typical dive; this was journey into history.

Honestly, I was a bit a little apprehensive. Wreck diving requires extra care. But the team at **Amadive Con Dao Dive Center** were incredible. The Divemasters provided a detailed safety briefing. We discussed safety protocols, the story of the wreck, and what to expect below. Being in such a small group immediately put me at ease comfortable.

Descending was surreal. At first, it's a shadow in the distance, then suddenly it appeared. It was huge. The ship is now a bustling new home, covered in soft corals and teeming with fish. I spotted giant groupers hiding from inside the cargo hold, and schools of fusiliers hiding in the superstructure. That feeling of gliding alongside this giant, silent vessel is indescribable—haunting, awe-inspiring, and humbling all at once. It truly is a piece of history on the seabed.

If you're an Open Water diver (or higher) visiting Con Dao and looking for an adventure beyond the standard reef, check here I cannot recommend this **dive** highly enough.
